Steven Peele, Do you or has anyone identified a reliable way to convert ibotenic acid to muscimol? It doesn't have to be labratory pure excluding all other material, but just make sure the ibotenic acid is converted. You have said in the past that ibotenic acid can not really be converted by heating...

Maybe you should try working on the sterilized barley. You said you have had a dozen species do that before. If you could grow that and convert that to muscimol you could put that in any liquid later if you wanted anyway. There is no reason to try to get it to grow in the liquid to begin with. The g...
