I thought of applying myself, but am just too much of a passive person to be a good moderator :D I would like to make a comment on cowfodder's application. He would be a good mod and I just felt I needed to be the first to say so.

Thanks Dioxippus, I appreciate the vote of confidence.

At the risk of cutting my own chances, I think both Skunkjar and Eroc would make good mods.

On a related note, how long are applications being accepted? That was never covered.

Unfortunately, vendors cannot be moderators.

I would like to add my "vote" for cowfodder, I think he'd make a great mod, especially in the chemistry forum.

I feel the love here. Any more news on this front? I find myself checking edot even more often than I normally do in the hopes that I have a pm telling me whether or not my application was accepted.

well, you obviously know your stuff, cf.

On another note I'd like to give a vote to gkannon77 for the fermented drinks forum and the social forums, he has to have one of the best personalities on the site for dealing with some of the bullshit around here. (imo)

Also skunkjar has my vote for science and tech. I've always enjoyed his posts and he seems to know his stuff as well.

Now I have to ask edot in general, wtf? This thread has been posted almost a month and only three people have applied and voted? C'mon guys and gals, show some appreciation for edot and get involved a little bit here!

my two cents on that.

Ah, I wish had posted my application sooner. My vote's for skunkjar for science and tech, and if I'm allowed to vote for myself, then Energy Turtle for Plants forum.
