Hey, I was wondering when would the best time be to look for amanita muscaria, in calgary, alberta, canada

No I have not, but I am going to look around again today, and I will report back if I have any luck. The reason I have not really looked, is because, a friend told me not to bother until october, but he has been wrong about all mush so far.

Iv looked under all the pine trees in my area, and checked constantley, and still have had no luck, is it that I am looking in the wrong places?

Right around the time of the first frost. Pine trees in large groups are
good places to look.......slp/fmrc

I lkive in Maine and we find them in the fall when it starts to get cold outside

Hey, so far no luck, but it has started to go down to like 10 c at night and 16 in the day, it also has rained alot in the past month, would now be a good time to start looking for them?

Now is the time, in Saskatoon. But a thick stand... that would be a find. Unlike some mushrooms, these guys seem to show up in small numbers (3 to 8 fruiting bodies). Of course, I'm no expert; that's just my experience.
